Hey, you guys sick of this yet? I hope not! I think it's kind of fun, actually! I miss posting NOTDs, though. I'll be back at the end of this series regardless of what I have to do!
Today's pondering: have you ever won any giveaways? What did you win? Have you ever had your heart set on winning a giveaway, only to have loved and lost?
I've won once, through Mommy Does Her Nails, and got a bottle of Zoya Noel! There have been quite a few giveaways I've hoped to win, mostly for the OMG! collection. I've loved and lost, but it's made me a stronger blogger (or possibly weaker, because sometimes out of disappointment I'll allow myself to indulge, and then I'm poorer, too...)

I have one giveaways I think about 10 in total. It usually comes in spurts I will win 2 or 3 close together, but after that nothing for quite a while. I have had a couple giveaways I was super excited to win, but they never happen.
I've never won anything I didn't want though, but that is because I only enter a giveaway if I am interested in the prize. I'm not fond of the giveaway chasing where you enter everything in sight just to win something, lol.
Right now it is especially nice that I have won a few giveaways. It feels like an extra special treat with the very unkind and unwanted buying ban I am having to live by, lol.
I've won two giveaways. One from a blogger and one from beauty of a site's fb page. The one from a blogger was fun because it was all stuff I didn't have and a few frankens. I only enter when it's stuff I really want not just to win something.
I try not to get my hopes of winning up to high, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. lol! I have a few giveaways. None that were really big ones, usually just a polish or two, but I'm okay with that! I love getting mail so even if it was a nail file I'd be happy.
I skip quite a few giveaways because they aren't something I would use (like makeup ones) or I already have them.
I have never won anything. There have been a few I wanted to win. I wanted to win some for non nail polish giveaways. I have wanted to win some for the opi muppets collection cus I haven't had a lot of money lately and those were high on my list. I have been entering lately for polishes that I can't buy right now :(

I have never won a Giveaway before :( I always hope that I win something. I see so much cool nail polish stuff that I want to try but NEVER would imagine to buy it. That's the stuff I want to win :) I would love to win something I would be "Afraid" to buy .
I've won one nail polish related giveaway once. I've won other giveaways from Lucky magazine before, too. Those were quite fun :-)

I have won giveaways. The one giveaway I was so excited to win was the OMG's. When I found out I won I fell out of my chair, like seriously. I never thought I'd own those pretties. If I did I thought I'd be paying lotta money on them, so yes they are my very precious. LOL I love to enter giveaways, even if I don't win. :) Its just the fun of it all.

I tend to have this "I never win anything - it must be my turn to win this very extravagant giveaway!" mentality, but it fails me often

The Muppets, eh? I wasn't the biggest fan of them anyway - this is coming from a glitter fiend. If I had them to give away, I would!

really? wow. I liked the burlesque glitters better but the muppets weren't that bad. they were different. I am really looking to get meep meep meep and wocka wocka though
The one giveaway I've won was for three of the Essence @holografic.com polishes. I always hope to win OMG giveaways or GOSH holo giveaways, but alas, no luck with those. =)
Nothing wrong with them, just kind of boring to me :) I didn't get any of the cremes or anything, just Rainbow Connection!

I won a huge makeup palette giveaway from my friend Christina before we became really good friends. I won it right around my birthday, too.. so it was extra awesome! That's about it, though.
But I have won 2 radio contests (1 $500 gas card & I got to meet The Gym Class Heroes) and I won an iPod Nano from Cosmo magazine when they first came out.. So I guess I have decent luck. :)

The first giveaway I won was yours :D That made me so happy!! I've won about three since and it's always a good feeling. But there are other times when I get bummed about not winning...I just have to realize that's not why I blog...I blog because I love polish - not winning
